Default Warrior in JQ

I could need some advice on how you use your warrior in JQ. I've been using a RoJ hammer build lately. What is your advice for the best JQ build for a warrior or how you wanna use a warrior in JQ. I know many says "warrior is useless in JQ". Prove me different Thanks for advice, your build or tactic.

No RoJ warrior, please. Trying to use a melee character as a caster never works well. Your job is to take out casters who are attacking quarries. If your build is suitable, then kill turtles or guards.

There are several useful builds on pvxwiki for warriors in PvP. As a starting point they do very well. http://pvx.wikia.com/wiki/Main_Page Try them out and see which ones work best for you. When you notice you have a skill that is under-utilized, replace it with something else, perhaps from a seconday line. This is how new builds are created that fit your play style.

My current JQ build

W/P
Command 6
Tactics 8 + 1
Axe Mastery 10 + 1 + 1
Strength 11 + 1

Dismember
Axe Twist
Sprint
"Make Haste"
Cyclone Axe
Triple Chop
Wild Blow
Healing Signet

OQkkEtSaFaaTUxq0VuxKFwXQJAA

And now everyone can laugh, but he asked.

I play a normal hammer build (using Earthsaker instead of Dev Hammer) and I try to hunt cappers (Bombers/Eles/Monks).

If they can't cap, your team can win.

You make sure to not hit "Enter Battle".

^^pretty much what shayne said.

But, if you must, bring some type of shutdown for cappers, mostly your average dev hammer, and perhaps power spike/rend enchants for bombers.

Cap yellow fast, then stick around and bullstrike anyone walking by.

Much better tactic for you would be to use a build to hunt down and kill Juggernauts/Turtles. Trying to stop capping is useless, while being able to take over guard posts and take down enemy transporters can be surprisingly effective... though, to speak bluntly, it's hard to imagine any melee capable of effective cutting support lines.

Dont listen to the people who think warriors are a waste in JQ. The fact is every class has its place....some are more effective than others yes, but still warrior is certainly viable in JQ.

Any KD build as mentioned above...A crip slash build is extremely useful. You can have all the build in the world for any char but if you dont use it to its best abilities (aka tactics) then its all for not.

Head hunt. A crip slash/KD can keep a necro bomber or ele from getting to the shrines. Use it wisely.

3. Enraging Charge
4. "Make Haste!"
5. Cyclone Axe
6. Triple Chop
7. Endure Pain
8. Lion's Comfort

Attributes:

Axe Mastery 12+1
Strength 12+2

Wielding:
Sundering Serpent Axe of Fortitude (perfect)
Exalted Aegis Str (yes I know!)

Has no shutdown whatsoever, no IAS, cyclone axe and triple chop are crap in JQ, you'll die before you can cap a shrine with it. Endure pain is generally useless since it is Pseudo health.

Run hammer, or an axe bar with shock/Disrupting chop in it, or defy pain to get in the way of bots.

And I see you have PvE weapons, run a PvP char.

Well I guess I got some changes to do still. I know my weapons are for PvE, and I'm in search for a good weapon-set. The build works great for capturing posts and for killing players 1v1 or 1v2. But I'm as you say vulnerable and the Endure Pain was a suggestion from one of my officers :S When it comes to capturing Quarries I have no chance what so ever against the spellcasters and their knockdowns. In my opinion Defy Pain is a bit to defensive. Sure I will stay alive much longer and would work great as a tank, but... I know sword works better in JQ with most builds like Hundred Swords and such but I am normally a Hammer/Axe warrior. I'm interested in taking up a Spear or a Scythe but need builds for this to happen. Thanks for help and I look forward to more advice and hope others will get some advice to by reading this.

I play an interrupter, with defense agaisnt melee.
My job is pretty much stopping RoJ-er's and elebombs. Its a bonus if i can hold them and keep them alive, one less player for the other team.

Heres the build:

Swordsmanship: 9 + 1
Strength: 8 + 1 + 1
Tactics: 12

Dragon Slash (Elite)
Savage Slash
Distracting Blow
Flurry
Deadly Riposte
Riposte
Sprint
Healing Signet

Template Code:
OQATERaWZZxNsiCrIsBrrCAA

Typical Strat:
Hold purple, skills 2 and 3 to interrupt ele's and monks, skills 4 and 1 to kill, skills 5 and 6 to defend agaisnt melee, skills 7 for movement and 8 for self-healing.
I can sometimes hold a monk for a good 3 minutes.

Ok I will try out your build. What weapon-set is recommended? Don't want the overall cost to me over 100k.

Can I ask why? Until you get all the required equipment with your PvE Warrior, you can go with a PvP Warrior (or another class), get balthazar points and Luxon/Kurzick points, and spend them with your PvE Warrior O_O

Build

Dev Hammer, Crushing Blow, Hammer Bash, Bull's Strike, Flail, Sand Shards/Rend Enchantments/power spike, Enraging Charge, Optional, such as lion's comfort or something from your second prof.

Earthshaker also doesn't do too bad in JQ.

Vamp/Zealous/Sundering Hammer.

Defensive Spear+Shield.
